This is some older work from around 2010 that I had built using 3DS Max, CAT (rigging, skinning and posing of characters), Mudbox and v-ray. I had never posted the 'behind the scenes' models that went with this video until now, these are old renders, and my skills have come a long way since then, but this video has almost reached 2 million views on youtube over the years, so I thought I would post this work here. A lot of these models were created for some custom bezel designs and cabinet side art I made for a friend/client. I originally made this video as a demonstration for an assignment for my students at the time, where they had to model, texture, animate and render a 3D Arcade of their choice. It was a fun project. (Fun fact - Bandai/Namco cut me a cheque to allow a marketing team in the US to use a clip from this video in a promotion for the pac-man themed Level 257 restaurant.)
The original Pac-Man Arcade 3D video I posted to youtube in 2010. Created in 3DS Max, rendered with V-Ray.
